We are just around the corner from Valentine’s Day and there is a lot to think about if you have a significant other to celebrate with. Gifts? Restaurants? Date ideas? Well, don’t fret; we’ve got the last one covered.
Here are 10 Valentine’s Day date ideas to help you enjoy the romantic weekend:
1. Bowling: Bowling is something active that you can enjoy together. Regardless of talent, you will have fun with some friendly competition.
2. Old Movie Night: Rent some classics like Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, or Some Like it Hot, and enjoy snuggling up and sharing a bowl of popcorn.
3. Opera: You may not be a German or Italian speaker but the Opera is a romantic and glamorous place for a date. If there is no opera house close to you, you can make a weekend trip to a larger city to enjoy this alluring art.
4. Game Night: Twister? Clue? You will share tons of laughs bailing your partner out of Monopoly jail.
5. Spa Treatments: Since Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday, you’ve got all Saturday to relax and have another great date. Book some treatments at a spa. Facials, massages, the works. By the end of the day you both will look and feel great.
6. Dance the Night Away: Take your honey to an electronic dance club or shake it to some salsa music.
7. Skiing: February is a great month to go skiing. The sun is (usually) out more, the temperatures (supposedly) improve, and V-day weekend is a great time to sip wine by a fire after a day of fun.
8. Play Chef: Cooking with your sweetie is always lots of fun. Try picking out a gourmet recipe and attempt it with your significant other. It will require a lot of patience!
9. Ice Skating: The winter weather provides some great date ideas. Ice skating is one of them. Enjoy gliding around and holding hands while you try not to fall or try to prevent your girl/guy from falling!
10. Gamble: Dress up like Bond characters and hit up the roulette table with two martinis accompanied by mysterious stares.
